The 25 children from the Seeland region were proud to open the «Bären Grand Prix» on 25 May 2024 in the shirts of the Swiss football team. The lettering ‘2025’, a reference to the upcoming UEFA European Women’s Championship, was impossible to miss.
Promotional campaign in Bern
Following the kick-off event in March, this was the third appearance of the Host City of Bern as part of the promotional campaign for the UEFA Women's EURO 2025. The presence of the Host City of Bern at one of the largest running events in Switzerland emphasized the importance of the tournament for our country and in particular for the city and canton of Bern. The excitement for the largest women's sporting event in Europe is growing. And with it, expectations are also rising: After all, from 2 to 27 July 2025, Switzerland will not just be hosting a tournament, but the «Summit of Emotions».
